Throwback

When I was a kid, my favorite part of the day was when I was alone. 

From a distance, I would watch other kids play. While they were busy running, I would grab my textbook, read it, and answer all the exercises. While others played “bahay-bahayan”, I busied myself wondering how nature works.  I even used to study how my father performs his duties at work.

Anyways, I liked to play ‘jackstone’ and the likes. I did master those games. However, only few would take me in for a game.

This was my childhood. Oops, did I even have one?
